Nina shared these books in Kirkland, Washington.

The first Little Free Library was built by a Girl Scout Troop in 2013.

The red one, Snoopy's House of Books, is newer and already very loved by the neighborhood!




18. Arkansas

Shannon placed these books in the Little Free Library at Jefferson Elementary School in Morton, Illinois.

Fun Fact: Morton is the Pumpkin Capital of the World!

Built in 1928, Jefferson is the oldest elementary school in town. It helps host the Morton Pumpkin Festival — a four-day celebration of all things pumpkin — every September. Libby's pumpkin is canned in Morton.

13. Hawaii

Thank you goes out to Charlotte for putting these books in her Aloha Pink Little Free Library!

About the library: Charlotte and a friend repurposed an old television console, and she did all the painting and artwork by hand. She even used her wood burning tool to inscribe one of her favorite quotes. There are white and pink plumerias on one side and rainbow COVID hearts on the other.
